Being Off Grid, we highly recommend installing a DC-DC charger.

Imagine being Off Grid, already with a Solar energy system set up for your leisure battery power bank. You come back in from a long walk and see that you have accidently left a light on and the Leisure batteries have depleted. With the DC-DC charger, all you would have to do to get a good charge back on the leisure battery is to turn the main engine on and "Voila" your leisure batteries will begin charging.

The advantage of DC-DC is not only that above, but whilst the vehicle is in motion, the leisure batteries will be gaining extra charge.
