Please note, that for any Lithium Battery Installation, some of your charging sources may need their settings altering, or even swapping for them to be compatible with a lithium battery. This is due to the charging algorithm that a lithium battery needs. This equipment includes your solar charge controller, mains hook up (240V) charger, and also split charge relays that are fitted (these are also known as VSR's, Voltage Sensitive Relays).

Split charge relays are not compatible at all with a lithium battery and do not have any settings to change for this, so therefore these would always need to be swapped for a device called a DC to DC (sometimes called a Battery to Battery charger)

PLEASE NOTE. With our lithium installs prices may vary depending if there is a need for any kind of 'busbar' system and also securing of the battery (box, strapping etc). Seatbase bettery installs will depend on labour time to take seats out etc.

If you have your own battery and wish for us to install, this will be calculated on our hourly rate

As a technical service, aimed at providing you with the best energy solutions, we prefer to use Lithium Ion Batteries, simply because they outperform all other batteries and are the "MOST" cost efficient over the long run.

Other advantages

Longer shelf life. 10-15 years depending on how well the battery is looked after.
If you keep your lead-acid batteries charged at 50%, they will last between 500 and 800 charge/discharge cycles.
You can actually discharge a lithium battery down to 20% capacity multiple times, and it will still last 5,000 cycles. This is about ten times longer than a lead-acid battery.
You can charge a lithium battery up at a much higher rate of amperage (which means much quicker charge time)
They have a significantly higher discharge rate (great for when an inverter is being used)
They are lighter and can make a difference on weight limits, specially when travelling overseas.
This means they are more cost effective over the years as you won't be replacing them (lead acid lifespan is between 3-5 years)
